Directions:

Using a ruler and a pencil draw a piggy bank style slot for the top of the house. The width and length will be determined by how many pairs of scissors you wish to hold and how large or small they are.
Cut the slot out with a sharp craft knife and lightly sand the opening to remove any ragged edges.
Dry brush gesso over the house leaving some of the paper maché show through. Let dry.
Dab the metallic stamp pad over the edges of the house and in small patches on over the surface. Let dry.
Using Aileene's tacky glue adhere a few squares of the book pages to the house.
Embellish some corners with washi tape
Using an awl, punch two holes to attach the house number.
Glue lace trim to the peak of the roof.
Glue on fabric flower.
Create a label with the embossing label to identify which type of scissors the house will hold and adhere it to the front.
Glue the key in place.
