Note: When choosing papers for your layout, look for colors and styles that complement the photograph and theme and for solid colors to coordinate with the background paper.
Instructions
1.
Mat the photograph with cardstock ¼” wider and longer than the photo.
2.
Emboss the design onto burgundy cardstock. Lightly sand the design.
3.
Crimp a 1” x 9” strip of burgundy cardstock at an angle to create diagonal lines. Sand as shown.
4.
Print or write your title on to a strip of tan cardstock the same length as the photograph. Adhere to the center of a strip of burgundy cardstock about 1” wide and a 1 ½” longer than the title.
Referring to the photograph, assemble the layout as follows:
1.
Adhere a 2 ½” wide strip of printed paper across the bottom of the medium pink cardstock.
2.
Adhere the embossed design along the right edge of the page.
3.
Adhere the crimped strip to a 1’ x 8 ½” strip of tan cardstock allowing about ¼” of the tan to show along the edge then adhere to the page as shown.
