Remember to choose colors of paper and embellishments that compliment your photographs. Colors chosen here reflect the colors in my photographs and the shapes reflect the theme in my photographs, but they may not be the best choice for yours.
Instructions
  1. Apply adhesive to the photograph(s). Glue to yellow or red cardstock then trim around the edges with Paper edgers. Apply adhesive then mat with a second color. Use the Paper Trimmer to trim the edges leaving a narrow border. Apply adhesive then mat again with the first color used. Apply adhesive to the matted photographs.
  2. Cut two, 12” x 2” strips from the red gingham paper. Apply adhesive to these strips and the balloon die cuts.
  3. Punch balloon shapes from scrap pieces of white paper, or vellum then cut out numbers using the shape cutter and template. Apply adhesive with the small sticker maker. Remove the cellophane from the top, but leave the shapes on the backing sheet. Roll the bottle of paint on the table to mix then snip the tip. Start the flow of paint on a paper towel then spread the paint onto each shape with the bottle tip, making sure the paint reaches the edges. Let dry 1 – 2 hours, or overnight.
  4. Referring to photograph of project, arrange then place the gingham strips, matted photographs and die cuts on your page. Tie strands of floss around the ends of the balloons.
Peel the numbers from the adhesive backing sheet then place on the balloon die cut. Peel additional balloon shapes from the sheet then place on your page in a random fashion. Use the marker to add journaling and balloon strings.
