Spellbinders -
Elegant Heart Card

Materials Needed:
  • Spellbinders  S4 137 Classic Scalloped Heart
  • Spellbinders  S4 136 Classic Heart
  • Kaleidoscope Kreator
  • WorldWin Black Cardstock
  • WorldWin Red Cardstock
  • WorldWin Gold Mirror Cardstock
  • Krylon Gold Leaf Pen
  • Glossy Printing Paper

 
Instructions:
Prep
  1. Cut:

    a) 5 ¾ x 11 ½  Black Cardstock
    b) 5 ¼ x 5 ¼  Red Cardstock

  2. Fold black card in half, ink edges with gold leaf pen
  3. Ink edge of red cardstock with gold leaf pen
  4. Attach red cardstock to card front
  5. Create Kaleidoscope from Kaleidoscope Kreator digital program in colors matching cardstocks.

Die Cutting

  1. Center and tape largest scalloped heart die to card front (tape to inside of heart)
  2. Run open card through Wizard.
  3. Cut and emboss large scalloped heart with gold mirror paper
  4. Cut only two black straight edge hearts in one pass using the #2 and #4 dies from the Spellbinders Classic Hearts S4 136.
  5. Cut only largest Classic Heart (#1 size)  from  Kaleidoscope Kreator  printed glossy cardstock, tape  die to outside of heart to hold die in place.
  6. Cut only the #3 and #5 Classic Heart from Kaleidoscope  Kreator prined paper  in one pass.

Finish Work

    • Ink edges of all straight edge hearts with gold leaf pen
    • Adhere hearts as shown on sample, using pop dots between every other heart layer.
