Mini-Album: “Life Lessons Dad Has Learned”

Materials Needed

3-6 photos

1 sheet of Gin-X Coasters (Rings-Fun Friends)
1 sheet of 7gypsies 97% Complete Stickers (Home)
1 sheet of lined notebook paper
2 colors of cardstock
6 eyelets
1 binder ring
3 3-inch lengths of ribbon
Brown distressing ink
Sanding block
We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile (an industrial hole punch and eyelet setter)
Black archival pen
Scissors
Glue stick
   
 
Instructions
1. 1. Punch out the rings on the Gin-X Coaster sheet. Choose six rings of varying sizes to use as the base pieces for your album pages.
2. 2. Pick three rings to use as frames for your photos. Before cutting each photo, position a ring so that the desired part of the photo is framed, then use a black archival pen to trace around the outside edge of the ring. Cut out the photo and mount it inside the ring. Back each photo ring with lined notebook paper or cardstock.
3. 3. Back the remaining rings with lined notebook paper or cardstock. If desired, add two different layers—one to show through the ring and the other to cover the back. Embellish the album pages with stickers, leftover rings and journaling.
4. 4. If desired, sand and ink the edges of each page.
5. 5. To assemble the album, punch a hole in the top of each page, add an eyelet, insert the binder ring, and add the ribbons.
