Little Black Pages - "Growing Like a Weed"
Materials Needed
  12 x 12 black cardstock
  Pigment Ink (clear or colored)
Pearl Ex pigment powder in coordinating color
  Soft bristled brush
Decorative stamp (we used Posh Impressions Wildflower Duet #Z944E)
Colored cardstock for matting photos and journaling blocks
  Alphabet template for title
  Pen for journaling

Instructions
  1. Using the stamp and pigment ink, stamp design on black paper in desired pattern.
  2. Sprinkle Pearl Ex lightly over stamped image. The powder will cling to the ink. Gently brush excess powder off of paper. Repeat steps to create background pattern for page.
  3. Cut an 8" x 8" square from colored cardstock and adhere in the center of page. Crop photos into a 3 ¾" x 3 ¾" square and mount in a quadrant on cardstock leaving an 1/8" border between each photo and the edge of cardstock.
  4. Using the alphabet template, trace and cut out title letters from cardstock. Adhere to page and use pen to outline each letter. Cut and adhere small rectangles from remaining colored cardstock to identify people in the photos.
